Review of the Absolute Matte Lipsticks!

Hi guys!

Today's post is a review of the Absolute Matte Stick Lipsticks, I own two shades out of six: Burgundy and Cerise Pink, these are available from Beauty Crowd.

The packaging is sleek, I love the fact that it is matte with a hint of gloss, it looks extremely expensive for it's low price tag of £3.95.

As you can see the colours are extremely pigmented! The colour pay off is amazing, and this is true for the colour on the lips too, not just in swatches.

Of the two Burgundy is my favourite shade, and I have yet to wear Cerise Pink for a long period of time as it is a little bright! However I know that Burgundy has an insanely long wear time, and during that time it feels comfortable on the lips and doesn't dry them out at all. I would suggest prepping the lips with a scrub and lip balm to get the smoothest application.

Overall these lipsticks are lovely products, the only problem I have found is that while they are still setting to their matte finish they smudge very easily, but that is easily remedied by not touching around the mouth area.

Thank you for reading!

Bye!

GOSH Palette Review+Swatches

Hey there guys!
Today's post is going to be a review and swatches of the gosh "to enjoy in New York" palette.

Firstly this palette consists of nine, super buttery and super pigmented colours.

The top three colours are a bright white, a champagne and pink shimmer:

The next three shades are varying shades of purple, a medium, a dark and a pink toned purple. I have enjoyed using these colours in the crease of my eye, and you will see these colours used in an upcoming tutorial:

And the bottom three colours are all neutral. Including a golden brown, a silver toned grey and a mid toned brown:

The majority of the shades are matte with a very slight shimmer.
The palette is very versatile and can be used to create many different looks, so I recommend this to anyone who travels a lot, or just loves makeup!

That's all for today, I hope you enjoyed this post! Thank you for reading,

Bye!

Eye Candy number 016 lashes review!

Hi Guys!
Today, I am joining you with a review of the eye candy number 016 lashes.

As you can see they are very voluminous and long, I think they are a 50's style set of lashes which is what originally attracted me to them!

They are very good quality and very light.

Application:

As you can see I have already applied my make up, notice that I have done my liner already too.

Remove the lashes from the tray carefully with tweezers, I am then holding them in the middle (my tweezers are the "precision tweezers" from boots.)

Now apply the glue, this comes with the pack allow the glue to dry slightly so it's slightly tacky. next place as close to your natural lash line as possible in the middle with your tweezers. now for the next part it depends on which method you prefer: either use your fingers to pull the lashes in place or the tweezers. You want to make sure that you pull it into the inner and outer corners of your eye. Then apply a small amount of mascara to your natural lashes to make them blend in more.

Here is how mine turned out!

As you can see here my liner has become slightly jagged and the seam of the lashes is very obvious, so I am going to go back in with my liner to even this out.

Here is the finished result!

So as I am writing this I have been wearing these lashes foraround 8 hours and they feel as comfortable as they did when I first applied them!

Overall I think that these are great lashes, I will be re purchasing them, and this time for prom!

These are now my go-to lashes!

I hope you enjoyed this post, let me know any of your experiences with these lashes!

speak soon Guys!

HED uk hair extensions review!

Hey there!

I am very excited!! I have bought my new set of hair extensions, so this is going to be a sort of introductory post about where I got them and the quality things like that. So on that note, let's begin!

I ordered my hair extensions on a Friday for a very prompt delivery on the Monday, I was so surprised when I woke up to them at around half eight! I ordered 12" extensions and they are exactly the length I needed, and people have commented on how natural they look. They came straight in a clear wallet type packaging and with a sectioning clip. I have since done quite a few different styles with them for example  : half up do, curly and a side fishtail braid.

Here is my curly half up do:

I think they look a lot more natural curly than when they are straight.

There are eight pieces: Two one clip wefts, two two clip wefts and four three clip wefts (these vary in size slightly)

I really think that these are really affordable at £20 for remy real hair extensions!

I am planning on doing some more hair extension posts such as caring for them and different styling techniques, so keep your eyes peeled! I am also going to be starting some Christmas themed posts!

I hope you enjoyed this post and speak soon!

Maybelline the falsies mascara review

Hey there!

You mat have recently seen that I bought the maybelline the falsies mascara, so this is going to be what I think about this product!

I have used this every day since I bought it, and the results are quite good, it widens the eyes and gives a bit of length, I think that I would recommend the maybelline colossal volume cat eyes mascara over this one though.

The brushes are different, the falsies has a slightly thicker brush, which I think is meant more for volume, the Cat eyes however has a thinner brush but gives better length.

I hope you enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments which of the two maybelline mascaras you prefer!

Illamasqua pure pigment in beguile review !!

Hey there guys!

Todays post is going to be a review of the illamasqua pure pigment in beguile.

Firstly I would like to apologise for leaving it so long between posts, I have been coming up with some new ideas. Secondly I would like to ask you weather if I created a youtube channel you would watch my videos? let we know in the comments or an twitter.

Finally on with the review:

I absolutely love this product. you can use it through the day time as a quick makeup all over the lid look or you can get creative with different looks in the evening.

This product is so beautiful that my sister said she would wear it on her wedding day.

The only issue I had with the product was the delivery...

The illamasqua website clearly states that delivery  should take 3-4 days to places inside the UK, one week later I was still waiting.

I hope you enjoyed this review!

Review of etsy earrings!!

Hey there!

today is a review of some earrings from the etsy shop: some kind of pretty

These are sent from the USA, but delivery was really quite fast:

when I opened the parcel, the earrings were really nicely packaged:

I received the "blue bird" earrings

These aren't too expensive to buy either which is an amazing bonus!

These earrings are simple, but the details are there and it is made well, really good quality!!

These feel really good quality, but not too heavy to wear and look really nice on, you can use them day to day, or to jazz up an outfit for the evening.

Let me know if you have used this etsy shop before, and what you think!!

Revlon just bitten lipstain and balm review

Hey there! Todays post is going to be a review of the revlon just bitten lipstains.

Mine is in the shade "passion"  this is a very pretty pink colour, it is quite bright though, Then you apply the balm which makes the colour stay, moisturises your lips and makes your lips look supper glossy!

The one downfall is that it starts fading from the centre of the lips and you are left with a rim of bright pink around the outside of your mouth.

over all I think this is a good product.

These are available at boots for £7.99: here

I hope you enjoyed this post, Let me know if you have tried this product and what you thought either in the comments or on twitter @missnixitrixi

31 day snap- Rimmel Apocalips lip laquer review!

Hey there!

Todays post is going to be a review of the Rimmel London Apocalips lip laquer!

I realise that I am a bit late on the band wagon with this one, but it is amazing!

I bought the shade celestial 101.

These are available from boots for £5.99 which is a bargain!

the colour pigmentation will blow you away! Also the lasting power is unbelievable! But one draw back is that it dries your lips out a lot! I don't know if this is just me having dry lips in general or whether it happens to every one.

Let me know what you think of these products and which ones you have purchased!
